This is a tribute to my husband Larry who stood by my side through sickness and loss.

When I painted this, I thought about the time when I went through chemotherapy and was pretty much in the dump. I also thought about the time when our home burned down to the ground and we could not do anything but watch it happen. 

At the same time our love grew, our hearts were connected and we dared to dream of a future. To all of you that are going or have gone through something similar, this is for you.
