This painting was inspired by my time in Ibiza, Spain which was my stomping ground for a few years in the 80s. One night we sat in front of the finca my friends and I had rented and looked at the sky with all the stars and the full moon.

That's when we all realized how small we were - less than a sand corn in the Universe.
