I love to make collage papers to warm up before working on a larger canvas. It is playful, without big expectations and just fun. This process is important for me to turn off outside noises that are still circling in head from daily life, news media and others.

It calms down my mind to get to a place of quiet reflection where a subject or idea reveals itself. Think of an onion. The more you take the outer layers away, the more you come to the essence of what is in your mind.
